PLDT, SMART bag 13 awards at Philippine Quill
Doon Po Sa Amin receives Award of Excellence and Award of Merit
PLDT and SMART won 13 awards at the 2009 Philippine Quill Awards held last October 22 by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)-Philippines at the PICC Forum.
PLDT and SMART received five Awards of Excellence and eight Awards of Merit. Programs that were given Excellence awards include the Doon Po Sa Amin Learning Challenge, the 5th Smart Wireless Engineering Education Program (SWEEP) Innovation Awards, the 2008 PLDT Annual Report: Driving Transformation, the PLDT HR Group’s “A Call to Embrace Change: Getting PLDT employees involved in transformation,” and the Tipid Sulit Pinas! Advocacy campaign of the SMART Talk ‘N Text brand.
Awards of Merit were given to the Doon Po Sa Amin 2009 Wall Calendar, SMARTrees Campaign, PLDT 2009 Desk Calendar, SME Nation MY Biz Secrets, PLDT Business Solutions Tube, SMART’s microfinance program, SMART Energy Efficiency Program, and SMART@15 Anniversary.
The Philippine Quill Awards is an annual event that honors the achievements of professional communicators by recognizing excellence in communication.
