Community Choice Awardee: Iligan City East High School
Congratulations to Sagrada National High School (NHS), an Online Associate of Smart Schools Program (SSP), for winning the SSP Website of the Month Award for December 2009.
As an Online Associate of SSP, Sagrada NHS is given free website hosting and access to online educational content by Smart Communications Inc. (SMART). The Sagrada NHS website contains general information about the school and features the campus life, students’ achievements, and the school administration. Its comprehensive content and organized design and layout are made the Sagrada NHS website win in the SSP Website of the Month competition, SSP website’s rewards and recognition program for the SSP-hosted websites. Nominated websites are evaluated based on the content, website design, involvement of teachers and students, and website maintenance.
A “Community Choice Award” is also given to the nominee with the most number of votes earned in the Smart Schools Online Poll. The Community Choice Awardee for December 2009 is Iligan City East High School which earned a total of 183 votes in the online poll conducted from December 1, 2009 to January 2, 2010. Other nominated websites were: Baguio City NHS Loakan, Bayugan National Comprehensive High School, and Kiamba NHS.
