Daha Sur NHS Campaigns for DepEd Early Registration Day

In support of the DepEd Order # 4, s. 2012 “Declaring January 28, 2012 as the Early Registration Day for SY 2012-2013 To Achieve the Millennium Development Goals and the Objectives of Education for All” with the Theme:  “Makapag-aral ay Karapatan Mo, Magpalista Ngayong Enero”, the Daja Sur National High School (DSNHS) located at Daja Sur Banga, Aklan, Philippines launched its advocacy and awareness campaign last January 27-28, 2012.

To guarantee enrolment of the out-of-school youth and to ensure that the graduating pupils continue their secondary education, the barangay officials and the community have joined the teachers, parents, students in DSNHS in a series of activities of the campaign that started in a parade to nearby barangays and elementary schools in the locality, followed by a classroom to classroom campaign.

In its campaign headed by the school principal, the teachers, parents, and school organizations participated by encouraging and persuading the pupils and their out-of-school relatives to pursue their education for them to be successful in life.
