SSP Website of the Month and Community Choice Awardee (November 2011): Francisco G. Nepomuceno MNHS

Congratulations to Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial National High School (FGNMNHS) for bagging both the Smart Schools Program (SSP) Website of the Month Competition Award for November 2011 and the Community Choice Award!

The FGNMNHS underwent a major redesign and it truly paid off. Now sporting a classroom chalkboard design, their website comes off as a breath of fresh air. It is fun to look at and is now more engaging to its viewers. The website is also updated with the latest news about the recent school activities.

FGNMNHS went up against four (4) other nominees, namely:  Gen. E. Aguinaldo National High School BailenPililla National High School, San Roque Central Elementary School, and Tabaco National High School.
With regard to the Community Choice Award – a special citation for the website which garnered the highest tally of votes in the Smart Schools Online Poll – FGNMNHS topped the count with 40 more votes against the second placer.

The SSP “Website of the Month” Competition is SSP’s way of recognizing the best among the school websites hosted by the program basing on the content, design, and maintenance of the site, as well as the involvement of teachers and students in sustaining the website.

Again, congratulations to Francisco G. Nepomuceno MNHS as well as to other nominees for doing a great job in maintaining your websites!
