Squeeze out those creative juices! Get your whole class involved in a unique and extremely fun lip dub video!
Mechanics:
1. The contest is open to all bona fide teachers and/or students from Smart Schools Program (SSP) partner schools and SSP Online Associates nationwide.
2. Create a lip dub video featuring all the students in a class.
A lip dub is a music video in which people lip-sync to a song, and is shot in a single and continuous take, with no cuts or editing.
3. This is a class competition.
4. Pick a song which the class can easily sing and dance to.
5. Your lip dub video entry:
• Should include all students in the participating class
• Should be shot within the school premises
• Can include your schools principal, teacher adviser, school’s faculty and admin staff t in the video (preferred but not required)
• Should show something that will identify your school (signage, poster, etc.)
• Should be between 3 - 8 minutes only. Entries which exceed the time limit will be disqualified.
• Should be uploaded in YouTube.
6. The ONLY editing participants are allowed to do are: 1) Adding the final audio soundtrack, and 2) Adding of text in the opening and ending of the video

8. Please cite/reference your chosen song properly. Not doing so will mean disqualification of the entry. Click here for proper citation style.
9. Video plugs deemed offensive, racist, or containing exploitive and plagiarized content will be disqualified.
10. Submit the link to your lip dub video entry through this online form.
11. Deadline of submission of entries is on March 02, 2012, 5 P.M..
12. Videos will be judged according to: Originality, Creativity, Humor, and Video quality/editing. Five (5) teams with the best lip dub video entries will be selected as winners. They will all receive a premium gift from Smart!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Title of your video should be: “(Name of class section and School) - Entry to Smart Schools Lip Dub Video Making Contest.” Please also put this at the start of the video clip.
• Please put the following at the end of the video clip AND at the description field of the video in the video hosting site:
“This video is an entry of (Name of your class section and school) to Smart Schools’ Lip Dub Video Making Contest. Please visit the Smart Schools website at www.smartschools.ph or like the Smart Schools Facebook Page at www.facebook.com/smartschools for more info about the Program.”
Not doing so will mean disqualification of entry.
