I dream big.
I am Carl Patrick Sahagun Tadeo, 15 years of age, a senior student from Olongapo City National High School (OCNHS). As I trek this journey step by step, I learn to dream and believe.
Being a son of Roderick A. Tadeo Ph.D., a former teacher of OCNHS and is currently the Curriculum Consultant of the Department of Education - Central Office, it is a huge challenge for me to be successful in my studies and to say that, in time, I become a better man than what my dad wanted me to be. I aim to reach all of his high expectations of me so that I could pay back all of his sacrifices and hard work.
I am very proud about what he expects me to be. Because of the pressure, I joined many activities to make myself more involved. I am currently the news editor of our school paper and an officer of the Supreme Student Government. I also hold positions in different student clubs like Interact Club – GENES and Student and Teachers Entrepreneurs of the Philippines. I did all of these not because I bear his surname but because of my hard work and untiring effort. All the tears, sweat, and blood made me a better man.
Dad always says that I must dream. Well I say that just don’t want to dream but I want to make my big dream a reality. And my dad taught me to believe in the power of my dreams.
